On Your Own Lesson 6: Linking Images
For this lesson you will learn how to place an image on your page and make it link to another page.
For this lesson you should create a web page, saved as "lesson6-your name.html" in your "html lessons" folder, that has the following:
- The basic tags every web page needs. (This is from lesson 1)
- The words "lesson 6" in the title bar.
- A large heading that says "This is lesson 6"
- Your name in bold letters
- Place the eagle image from below on your page.
- Turn the eagle image into a link. Make it link to the Stayton High School web site. It's address is http://www.staytonhigh.com
How to grab this image to use on your page: You must first save this picture in your "html lessons" folder to get this lesson to work. To grab this picture, right click on the picture and choose "save image as." Save the image in your "html lessons" folder. If you save it anywhere else, the lesson will not work.
