Course Materials: The primary texts for this class are Hampton-Brown High Point books for English Language Learner (ELL) students.   I find new resources every day as I continually search for more materials to benefit the students.  If an appropriate resource becomes available, I will send a notice home to students and parents.  If any materials are objectionable to parents, alternate assignments may be provided.  Please contact me at the number below.

Supplies needed:  Students will need a three-ring binder in which to keep class materials, a writing utensil and paper.

In order to properly place and assess each student, it may be necessary to conduct testing individually by taking students out of their regular courses.  This should not be so extensive as to hinder their success in other courses.  Please note that by signing this syllabus you are allowing yourself (or your student) to be taken out of other courses on a very limited basis to be given this necessary testing.
