Course
Overview: Tech Theatre is an introduction to many components of
theatre, with the exception of acting.
The players who truly make a show happen can be found behind the scenes,
excelling in many indispensable trades such as: Lighting, sound, costuming,
makeup, construction, and design elements.
Course
Goals: In this class, students will get a taste of many technical
theatre elements. Hopefully, they will
find an area in which they both excel, and they find interesting. Above all, this course will give students an
appreciation and fundamental knowledge of the inner workings of a theatre.
